The Abbey Dance Academy is dedicated to offering fun, affordable, professional tuition for children from 2 years.

We have a long teaching history and a wealth of experience in making dance and fitness accessible to everybody.

Our fully qualified, insured, enhanced DBS checked, appointed first aid and certified safeguarding team of instructors, have taught various dance syllabi from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, International Dance Teachers Association & Royal Academy of Dance but sometimes felt the fun factor was missing! We have combined elements from our experience and specialist training in the fitness industry, along with our extensive work in many local primary schools, to create our dynamic, bespoke programme for all abilities.

We believe that parents and carers are part of The Abbey Dance Academy and, therefore, encourage regular performances for fun so our families can enjoy dance together.
We also strive to keep our tuition prices reasonable, by following the 6 term school academic calender to offer manageable blocks of payment.

The Abbey Dance Academy puts the FUN in dance and although, on request, we are more than happy and qualified to teach for grade examination, our classes are designed to take the child on a dance journey which we believe, does not have to be measured.
Festival work and private lessons in all genres are available to book at the beginning of each term.
